This is the first driver version that no longer supports GTX cards (16xx are the only supported GTX cards). The easy way to deal with this challenge, if you have an unsupported card, is to install the package nvidia-driver-pinning-580 before you continue with this tutorial. Otherwise you will get a black screen.
