<description>Find all other LPIC-1 VODs here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3KVgwMTWoO3ozWUP1CYGf_Xv7vW5L0a4 This video is part of a series where we’ll learn LPIC-1 and prepare to pass the exam. In this live stream, we cover the lesson "102.1 Design hard disk layout". If you are unable to attend our live streams, you can re-watch the entire session, including the live chat replay, until the next lesson stream begins. After that, the VOD will be available exclusively to YouTube and Patreon members, who also have access to my complete live stream archive, including the previous sessions linked below. We’re covering one LPIC-1 lesson live every Sunday at 18:00 UTC, so the stream remains free to watch for the entire week after its release. Key knowledge areas • Allocate filesystems and swap space to separate partitions or disks. • Tailor the design to the intended use of the system. • Ensure the /boot partition conforms to the hardware architecture requirements for booting. • Knowledge of basic features of LVM. Get access to past sessions: https://youtube.com/@LinuxRenaissance/join This is the official material that we are using for learning: https://learning.lpi.org/pdfstore/LPI-Learning-Material-101-500-en.pdf The stream is very interactive and I expect participants to follow along and answer questions to the best of their knowledge. Make sure to motivate me for more content by, at least, liking the video and leaving a comment. It means a lot to me.
